Leslie Webb
Leslie is an accomplished Infant Mental Health Endorsed Associate for Washington State, a Full Spectrum Doula, and a Childbirth Educator. With over two decades of experience as an Early Educator, Leslie has dedicated her career to advocating for children of color and Black Infant and Maternal Mental Health. She has consistently supported and equipped parents and caregivers with tools for fostering secure family environments and promoting healthy child development. Leslie's work focuses on dismantling systemic racism and implicit biases, emphasizing family preservation and fatherhood support. She actively partners with organizations involved in policy work to advance the rights and experiences of Black and African American children and families.
Leslie’s dedication to advocating for Black Infant and Maternal Health is also evident in her role as a Community Advisory Board Member of the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department Black Infant Health Program. Her approach is characterized by empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed lens, making her a trusted advocate and leader in her community.
