Meow and Smile

I must admit that I am exhausted from all of these people who feel the need to tell me I’m wrong. According to THEM, I simply don’t know what I am speaking of. My constant struggle is understanding why they have self-promoted to, not experts as experts go, but as supreme beings on all matters that they want to be seen as supreme.

Is this an age thing, a self-described-leader thing, a personally-defined-gender-identity thing, a lack-of-experience-but-loaded-on-social-media-insight thingy? What makes all of these individuals decide that they need to be the boss of everyone else and get paid a 6 figure income while doing so? Again, no real education or experience, and by real education I don’t mean sitting in an auditorium and listening to the rants of another no-real-education beyond-book-educated individual as they complain about how they weren’t positioned higher up in society because they weren’t willing to move beyond their comfort zone. The highly book-educated are people who like to judge while others actually try to effect.

I am sincerely curious to why all of these, hiding- behind-their-computer/phone-screens, non-visionaries, and non-imaginative get to dictate to me not only how I live but what I am allowed to think. If THEY deem it offensive or hate speech, if THEIR feelings are, in the slightest, bruised, I am the villain and they aren’t just the judge, jury and executioner, but the Thought Police as well.

Maybe those who tend to get a front row seat to all the happening via social media have judged themselves judges of all others? I will eagerly admit that I am an instant judge. I judge all that I experience, being directly or indirectly involved. But I also know that I probably know little if anything of the back story, so I take my initial impressions as beginners ignorance and wait until the drama completely unfolds before I make any true and lasting conclusions. And after that, I know that my chances of being wrong are still pretty high.

So let me share a bit of insight for all of these people I speak of and about. We all feel the same emotions, we just arrive at them differently. We are all flawed, no matter how one might try to deny this truth. At any given time someone, no matter how hard we try to hide our imperfections, will see right through us. Being the loudest person doesn’t mean what THEY are saying is the truth. Often, it just means that THEIR self esteem is tethered to THEM being not only heard but believed.

But on a lighter note: If you were my cat I would acknowledge and accept your rapid fire judgement about me with a smile.
