NAMI Pierce County: Volunteers Needed!

Do you have a passion to serve those affected by mental illness? Would you like to make a
difference in your community and be able to speak for those who are unable to do so
themselves? Are you interested in advocating for changes and improvements to our mental
health system? Would you like to belong to an organization that values your experience and
passion and where you are part of a family?
Then we need YOU!!

Consider joining the NAMI Pierce County Board of Directors. We are currently seeking
officers for the positions of Board president and Board secretary, as well as for directors for
the areas of community outreach, education, membership, and legislation/advocacy. Board
members serve a two-year volunteer term beginning January 2023. NAMI Pierce County’s
mission is to provide support, education, advocacy and public awareness so that individuals
and families affected by mental illness can build better lives.

We are a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization led by an active Board with the goal of making a
difference in and improving the lives of those in the mental health community. Please
contact board President Lovey Offerle at or 206-390-2040 for more
information and to help make a difference in the lives of others.
We look forward to you joining our NAMI Pierce County family!
